Maulud: Tinubu, Governors Felicitate With Muslims, Calls for Reflection

President Bola Tinubu and various governors have sent messages of goodwill and congratulations to Nigerian Muslims on this year’s commemoration of Maulud Nabiy, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

President Tinubu urged Muslims to use this period for deep reflection and remembrance of the Holy Prophet’s exemplary conduct and noble teachings.

On the other hand Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago beckon on the Muslim Ummah to reflect deeply daily on the life and times of Prophet Muhammad, highlighting virtues such as peace, patience, and tolerance.

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi has expressed his concern about the current economic hardships and appealed to the Muslim faithful to pray for Allah’s intervention to end the calamity.

Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah and emphasized the profound significance of Eid-ul-Maulud for the Muslim community.

On a celebration mood,  Jigawa State Government has declared Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, as a public holiday to mark the celebration of Eid-el-Maulud.
