Goal reported on Thursday that United had agreed a £75 million deal for the Everton striker, effectively ending their interest in Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata.
Lukaku will now reportedly undergo a medical in the US ahead of being unveiled as a new signing at Old Trafford.
And the Belgian has been getting ready for his big move by training with a soon-to-be team-mate in France international Pogba, with the former Juventus man posting images of the duo on his Instagram page.
The two are known to be close friends off the pitch and have been spending time together in LA, along with NBA star Serge Ibaka.
United will be keen to get the deal for Lukaku over the line before their five-game tour of the US begins on Sunday.
