Arsenal bottled their chance to make another push for the Premier League title after losing 1-0 to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground stadium on Saturday evening.

An early 19th-minute-goal from Nigerian star, Taiwo Awoniyi gave Steve Cooper’s men the lead.

The Gunners pushed for an equalizer before the game weaved into halftime. They had 81% ball possession, registering 2 shots on target.
Forest only had 19% of the possession.

Arsenal again pressed harder in the second-half, but without looking threatening at all. It ended 1-0 when Anthony Taylor blew the whistle in the dead of the 90th minute.

Okay.ng can confirm that the result puts Arsenal second on 81 points with one game remaining, while Manchester City have 85 points and three matches left starting at home to Chelsea on Sunday.

Forest are 16th and six points clear of the bottom three, ensuring them a second year in the Premier League after a miserable 23-year absence.
