For Ahmed Musa to regain a starter’s shirt in the Super Eagles he must get regular playing time under Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City Coach Genort Rohr has suggested.

Musa while at CSKA Moscow was a super regular and he was enjoying same status with national team.

However, life has started slowly in England where Musa is more of a bench warmer with the Foxes and it is already telling on his national team role.

In the game against Zambia, Musa was a late substituteand Rohr has warned that the situation may not change unless Musa gets more playing time under Ranieri

“Ahmed Musa has not played for Leicester in their last few matches and so we had to watch his sharpness and decided to bring him in the last 20 minutes when Moses Simon was getting tired.” Rohr noted in a recent interview.

He continued: “That was what we did and he brought in a lot of speed and motivation.

“He also had one good shot at goal. I hope he will start playing again in Leicester because when he plays there, he can be able to start the next game for us.
