Leaks allegedly revealing details of the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 lineup have surfaced online, providing enthusiasts with an early glimpse into the rear design and potential size enhancements of Apple’s next-generation models. Shared on X by tech insider Sonny Dickson and reported by MacRumors, the leaked images showcase dummy units representing four variants: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

These dummy units, commonly used for display or testing purposes, offer a sneak peek into the expected dimensions and design elements of the forthcoming iPhone models. Notably, the images highlight subtle size increases for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, with screen sizes expected to grow from 6.1 to 6.3 inches and 6.7 to 6.9 inches, respectively, compared to their predecessors.

While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are speculated to maintain their current screen sizes of 6.1 and 6.7 inches, rumors suggest a potential redesign of the vertical camera array to accommodate spatial video capture. Since the iPhone 13 series, Apple’s non-Pro iPhone models have featured dual rear cameras arranged diagonally.

Excitement surrounding the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max is further fueled by rumors indicating a significant increase in display size. According to a recent report from The Elec, cited by 9To5Mac, Apple is exploring the use of “Border Reduction Structure” (BRS) technology to achieve this expansion. This cutting-edge technology aims to minimize bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro models, paving the way for a sleeker design and enhanced visual experience.

As anticipation builds, industry observers expect Apple to adhere to its traditional release schedule, with the entire iPhone 16 lineup likely to be unveiled in the fall. With each leak and rumor adding to the excitement, tech enthusiasts eagerly await further details and official confirmation from Apple regarding its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series.
