The Management of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has published the Proposed Academic Calendar for 2017/2018 academic session.

The details are as stated below;

FIRST SEMESTER

All Returning Students Resumes [Except SIWES Students]- 16th October, 2017
Registration for all Returning Students begins- 16th October, 2017
Lectures for Returning Students begins- 23rd October, 2017
All New Students Resumes- 30th October, 2017
SIWES Students Resumes- 27th October, 2017
Lectures for SIWES Students begin- 27th November, 2017
Registration closes for all Students- 9th December, 2017
Christmas Break- 23rd December, 2017- 2nd January, 2018
All Students resumes for Lectures after Christmas Break- 2nd January, 2018
Lecture ends for all Students- 10th February, 2018
Matriculation for Freshers- 12th February, 2018
First Semester Exams begins for all Students- 19th February, 2018
First Semester Exams ends for all Students- 23th March, 2018
Conference Marking- 26th March, 2018- 16th April, 2018
First Semester Break- 26th March, 2017- 15th April, 2017

SECOND SEMESTER

Resumption and Commencement of Lectures for all Students- 16th April, 2018
Lectures ends for all Students- 7th July, 2017
2nd Semester Exams begins for all Students- 11th August, 2018
Conference Marking- 20th August, 2018- 8th September,2018
Consideration of 2017/2018 Sessional/Diploma Results- 30th August, 2018
End of 2017/2018 Academic Session- 1st September, 2018.
