Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, has beaten his Foxes team-mates Riyad Mahrez, Wes Morgan, N’Golo Kante and Kasper Schmeichel, along with Tottenham trio Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Toby Alderweireld to be crowned the Premier League’s Player of the Season.

The England forward has scored 24 goals, with one game to go, and second on the highest goal scorer’s log to Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who has got 25 goals in the league this season- he also has one more game to add to his tally.

The 24-year old was instrumental to Claudio Raineri’s success as the premier league winning coach this season, losing just three games all season and sit 10 points clear of second-placed Tottenham ahead of the final game of the season.
