The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially unveiled the registration dates for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), according to a statement released on Sunday.

Prospective candidates are now able to create their profiles on the JAMB website, with the sale of official application documents scheduled to commence on Monday, January 15th, 2024. The registration period will span six weeks, concluding on Monday, February 26, providing candidates with ample time to complete the process.

JAMB clarified that the registration fee for the 2024 UTME is contingent on whether a candidate opts for the optional mock exam. Those choosing to partake in the mock exam will be required to pay N7,700, while those who opt out will pay N6,200. Foreign candidates will pay $30 for the sale of application documents.

For candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry, the registration window opens on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, and closes on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

The 2024 UTME mock examination is slated for Thursday, March 7, 2024, allowing candidates to assess their preparedness and identify areas for improvement before the actual exam. Examination slips can be printed starting on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

The UTME itself will span ten days, commencing on Friday, April 19th, 2024, and concluding on Monday, April 29th, 2024.

As part of the announcement, JAMB encouraged candidates to visit their website (http://jamb.gov.ng) or reach out to their social media handles for more information. Additionally, candidates were advised to visit any JAMB office for further inquiries.
