Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky alleged to have paid N5 million upfront to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to secure a Federal Government pardon for money laundering charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Okay.ng reports.

He mentioned that the SAN demanded N10 million but he was unable to raise the full amount as his account had been frozen by the EFCC.

Bobrisky’s godfather came to his aid, paying the initial N5 million.

He also confirmed that he was not in prison, as widely believed, but was staying in a well-furnished apartment near the prison due to the efforts of his godfather and the Deputy Controller of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
