Nearly two months after her public separation from Nigerian music legend 2Baba, Annie Macaulay has made an emotional return to social media, expressing deep gratitude to her loved ones and supporters for standing by her through a difficult time.

Okay.ng reports that in a heartfelt post shared via her official Instagram account on Monday, Annie acknowledged the immense support she has received from family, friends, and fans around the world since the announcement of her separation.

“To my family, to my friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family HERE and all over the world — God bless you for the outpouring of love,” she wrote.

The Nollywood actress and model went on to say that she deeply values the kindness shown to her and prays that “the universe continues to be in your favor.”

“I appreciate every single one of you and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favor. God bless you all. Lots of LOVE,” she signed off, using her full name — Annie Uwana Macaulay.

Annie’s post marks her first public statement since 2Baba, whose real name is Innocent Idibia, announced their separation in January 2025.
