House of Representatives Member-Elect Dies in Taraba State

Ismaila Yushau Maihanci, the House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal constituency in Taraba State, has passed away.

The news of his death came as a shock to many, as he was expected to represent the three local government areas in the House of Representatives under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Okay.ng understands that Yushau Maihanci died in the early hours of Saturday, although the cause of his death remains unknown at this time.

He was buried on the same day, in accordance with Islamic traditions.

Before his election, Yushau Maihanci had served as a Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku.
