The abduction of the army officer came one week after President of the United Church of Christ in Nigeria, Rev. Emmanuel Dzigau and two other clergies were abducted on Monday last week along Abuja Road.

The clergy men are yet to regain their freedom as their abductors who had earlier demanded for N100 million ransom later reduced their demand to N50 million and threatened to kill them if the money was not paid in time.
