A Diesel tanker on Friday morning fell around BJ junction inward Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos state.

Okay.ng understands that the tanker blocked the whole road causing a massive gridlock on that route.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) through its Twitter handle, “The trailer head has been moved off the road. The tanker body will be evacuated shortly. Traffic diversion still ongoing for now. Motorists should be patient”.

Another update by the emergency and disaster management stated that the road has been opened for the congestion to flow through that axis.

The road has finally been opened both ways. Motorists urged to be patient and avoid rushing to prevent another road crash.
