Governor El-Rufai Creates New Ministry, Appoints Commissioner-Designate

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has created a new ministry to the 13 his government is currently operating with.

The Governor has also appointed a Commissioner designate for the newly created Ministry.

Mr El-Rufai nominated newly Mrs. Balaraba Aliyu-Inuwa, as the Commissioner designate for the newly created Ministry.

In a statement signed by the governor’s spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, said  the appointment of the commissioner designate is subject to confirmation by the Kaduna State House of Assembly.

Until her nomination, Mrs Aliyu-Inuwa was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural and Community Development.

This brings the number of ministries in the state to 14.
