-E don tey wey I carry ofofo come your side- I hope you still remember the gist I posted about Nicki Minaj,Drake & Serena Williams now lets come back to Nigeria, its one of our very own citadel of learning.’Babcock University’. If yur gonna shoot at me after reading this article, kindly point your gun/pistol to Babcock Olofo’s Website (Just saying).

It is sad that Africans still have low self esteem where their skin colour is concerned after being referred to as Apes during the colonial era. Therefore they have taken to turning their skin into adulterated goods just to look exactly like foreigners. Some Babcock University students have not been left out in this culture as they have also been given names depending on how well they have bleached their skin. There is snow white, John snow, you-light-up-my-world, Michael Jackson, Ghost mode, coke legs-fanta face, oh the list goes on.

There’s one thing common to these people, they are already naturally fair, okay not all that fair, but reasonably fair. Then what comes to your mind is why do fair people bleach? It’s absurd. If dark-skinned people bleach at least one can give them the excuse of wanting a different look. The amusing thing is when guys bleach and you just have to say ‘oga bet why na?’

Bleaching has levels. Some people spend up 150 naira or 1000 naira to bleach their skin, that is the Funbact-A, carolight, carolwhite group, while some spend up to 50 000 or 100 000 naira to bleach their skins.

Onyinye also known as John Snow, a 400lvl Mass Communication student has admirable bleaching skills. You cannot but admire her bleaching techniques as it blends and it takes great observation to know that the top layer of her skin has been removed. Sometimes her skin tends to misbehave and might want to appear as a skin of many colours, but she knows how stand under the sun especially after the application of her out of the world face concealer, she’ll be like ‘skin, I refuse to let you embarrass me’.

Oh there’s Olami too, she’s you-light-up-my-world, another flawless bleaching professional. If Olami is with you, I assure you don’t need a flashlight in a dark area, Olami is enough to light up your world, but her bleaching seems to affect her body odour. Her gist is for another day.

Of course when you mention bleaching professionals you cannot afford to forget Seglaw, the artist, also coke legs-fanta face. He seems to be artistic when it comes to his skin, it has that artistic flavor added to it.  He appears to fall under the Funbact-A group.

Some of the bleaching communities are building their own race as they are turning green. If only their skins had mouths… To get bleaching advice, creams and techniques, contact Onyinye, Olami and Seglaw! Remember You Did Not Get This From Me!
