Google Cloud has announced the appointment of Noor Al-Sulaiti as the Head of Security Business Development and Government Relations for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region (META).

Noor, a seasoned industry leader renowned for her innovative approach, brings extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors to her new role.

Noor’s appointment reflects Google Cloud’s unwavering commitment to the META region and its dedication to safeguarding digital assets for governments.

In her new capacity, Noor will lead Google’s security expansion efforts in the region, highlighting the increasing significance of cybersecurity for the company.

She will cultivate strategic partnerships with the public sector to leverage Google Cloud’s advanced cybersecurity solutions, including CyberShield, a robust cybersecurity solution tailored specifically for governments, emphasizing the need for organizations to unite in defense against shared attackers.

Noor Al-Sulaiti’s illustrious career includes her tenure as CEO of Ooredoo Oman, where she made history as the youngest and first female CEO, leading the company through a digital transformation into a customer-centric organization.

Prior to her role at Ooredoo Oman, Noor served as CEO of Starlink, a retail chain and IT service provider in Qatar, and held the position of general manager at Phono and FASTtelco in Kuwait.

She has been recognized as one of the most influential businesswomen by Forbes Middle East and as a notable business leader by other prestigious publications.
