1. Naira Marley remanded in prison custody

The federal high court in Lagos has remanded Azeez Fashola, a Nigerian musician also known as Naira Marley, in prison custody pending bail application.

2. FG announces activities to hold on June 12 as Democracy Day

The federal government (FG) has announced activities that are scheduled to hold June 12, Nigeria’s first Democracy day.

3. Lobi Stars coach, Solomon Ogbeide, collapses, dies

Solomon Ogbeide, the head coach of Lobi Stars, has died after he collapsed on Monday afternoon, Okay Nigeria reports.

Ogbeide had complained of body weakness and dizziness which resulted to him rushed to the hospital where he died.

4. Buhari hosts Tinubu, others to iftar dinner in Saudi [Photos]

Preisdnet Muhammadu Buhari on Monday evening hosted to a Iftar dinner national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has refuted reports going rounds on social media that Azeez Fashola, a Nigerian musician also known as Naira Marley, has been released.

Okay Nigeria reports that Justice Oweibo ordered that he be remanded in prison custody until May 30 for bail application.
