Gombe Gov Distributes Foodstuff to Corps Members

Foodstuff Distributed to Corps Members

Batch B stream II corps members presently undergoing the three-week orientation course in Amada, Akko Local Government Area of Gombe state were given some foodstuff by the State Government on Monday.

This was conveyed in a press statement signed by the Information Officer Secretary to the Government of the State office, Joshua Danmalam.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Adamu Inuwa, represented Governor Yahaya Inuwa.

The governor said, “The donation is to augment the feeding of corps members at the camp and cushion the effect of the rising cost of food items.”

The statement reveals that the governor also wished the corps members well, informing them that Gombe is hospitable.

On receiving the items at the temporary orientation camp, the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe State, Chinwe Nwachuku, expressed appreciation to the governor for the kind motion.

Nwachuku stated that she would inform the Director-General and high management of the scheme of the Governor’s love and untiring support to the NYSC.
