Google Developer Group (GDG) Aba is excited to announce to the general public that it will be hosting Developers Festival (DevFest 2017) for Eastern and Southern Nigeria on November 10, 2017 at the Eldorado Event Center Aba-Owerri Road Aba, Abia State. The hosting right came as a result of the votes casted by Managers of Google Developer Groups in the region and GDG Aba came out victorious.

This happens to be the 3rd edition of the clustered conference in the region. And the first time ever happening in the south-eastern region.

GDG Aba is delighted and proud to be hosting over 1000 developers, entreprenuers, students and Google experts across Nigeria in the 3rd edition of the DevFestSE conference and the first time in the South-east region.

DevFest Southern and Eastern Nigeria brings together the world experts in Android, Web, Cloud and other Google Technologies in Nigeria. It is designed to be a phenomenal atmosphere for every developer, tech enthusiast, entrepreneur, student and Google expert across Nigeria to meet each other and equally learn from the latest technology.

Last year, DevFest 2016 was successfully held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Where we had over 500 developers, entrepreneurs, students, organisations, government representatives and Google experts.

Having won the heart and the full support of all the Managers of Google Developer Groups in the region as a result of our tremendous contribution to the technology growth in the region over years, we strongly believe DevFestSE 2017 will be bigger, impactful and more successful than the previous editions leaving a remarkable landmark in Abia and the entire region.

The following technologies sessions will be handled by DevFest 2017, rockstar speakers and Googlers from Google Nigeria:
