Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended an open invitation to Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State to join the ruling party.

Ganduje made the offer on Thursday during a stakeholders meeting of the APC in Kano, emphasizing the party’s readiness to welcome Governor Yusuf and his supporters from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) into the APC fold.

“I am calling on Governor Yusuf along with his members from the NNPP to defect to the ruling APC at the national level to ensure massive political growth of the state,” Ganduje announced.

He reiterated the party’s commitment to expanding its membership base, expressing confidence that more members of the National Assembly from Kano State and other political parties would align with the APC.

“We will provide an enabling environment for all defectors for the overall political growth of our party, state, and the country at large,” Ganduje assured.

The APC National Chairman also hinted at potential defections from other political parties at both the gubernatorial and legislative levels, affirming ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s presence across Nigeria.

“I want to assure the good people of Kano State that the Federal Government will continue to initiate policies and programs that will enhance the well-being of the people,” Ganduje stated.

He further acknowledged the Kano state chapter’s acceptance of the Supreme Court verdict with goodwill, commending President Tinubu for his dedication to the party’s interests.
