The 2018 Caf Awards nominees have been released by the football body, the Confederation of African Football (Caf) on Friday.

Nigeria has three players in the male category of the Caf Player of the Year: Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo, and Alex Iwobi.

In the female version of the award, Asisat Oshoala, Desire Oparanozie, Francisca Ordega, and Onome Ebi are in contention.

In addition, Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will be vying for the Coach of the Year award.
