Costa has been linked with a £76m move to the Chinese Super League when the transfer window reopens.

The Spain hitman has scored 19 Premier League goals this season to put Chelsea on the verge of the title.

But it doesn’t seem to hold much weight with the Stamford Bridge faithful, who have expressed their disgust at Costa on popular fans’ forum theshedend.com .

One wrote: “76 million is about right. Good riddance, if he doesn’t want to stick around. He has served us well but now he can f**k off. Let’s move on and get someone else in.”

Another added: “Just play well for the last 5 games and then I don’t really give a s**t.”

While a fellow supporter wrote: “I am beyond caring if he stays or goes. Fact is we wouldn’t be where we are this season without him. But the way he’s been since the turn of the year we’ve effectively played with 10 men in many games and that’s not right.”

Costa has become one of the most hated players with his antics on the pitch riling opposition fans – and it seems his own are now entirely cheesed off too.

One Chelsea supporter said: “He was good for us but it’ll also be nice to be rid of the biggest s**thouse in the league. I just hope he gives it his all in the remaining games and goes out on a high note. “

Another reasoned: “Win the title and then you can go Diego….. if that’s what you want!”

While a fellow fan added: “The opinions on Diego possibly going go as much up and down as his form during a season.”
