First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) has officially launched its 2024 ‘DecemberIssaVybe’ campaign, aimed at rewarding customers with access to thrilling entertainment events across Lagos this festive season.

In a statement on Tuesday, First Bank explained that the campaign, which started in 2018, seeks to inspire people to create cherished memories amid the end-of-year celebrations by providing fully paid access to popular concerts, festivals, plays, and shows featuring A-list entertainers.

The bank emphasized that this initiative offers relief for Nigerians looking to celebrate the holidays in light of the challenging economic environment.

“For over 130 years, First Bank has consistently embedded itself in the lives of Nigerians, supporting festive events that feature Africa’s biggest music stars, including Kizz Daniel, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, Tiwa Savage, and many others, creating unforgettable experiences for music lovers,” the statement said.

The much-anticipated campaign kicked off on Saturday, December 13, at Onikan Stadium in Lagos, where First Bank sponsored Kenny Blaq’s Reckless Musicomedy Festival.

The show, which merged music and comedy, was a vibrant celebration of Africa’s entertainment creativity.

Through engaging social media activities, First Bank distributed free tickets to young Nigerians and entertainment enthusiasts eager to attend.

The event, which began in the late afternoon and ran into the night, featured performances from popular acts such as DJ Neptune, Kenny Blaq, Aproko, MC Monica, and OvyGodwin.

The festival celebrated a positive interpretation of ‘recklessness,’ focusing on themes of courage, creativity, and authenticity.

First Bank further enhanced the festive atmosphere with a fun booth, where attendees participated in trivia games, received mementoes, and captured special moments with photos.

“The DecemberIssaVybe campaign is all about making memories,” First Bank noted. “It provides a platform for Nigerians and international audiences to enjoy unique experiences while celebrating creativity and culture.”
