First Modular Refinery In Nigeria to Process 10,000bpd Crude from November

The Federal government (FG) has announced that it would divulge the primary particular refinery in the nation in the main seven day stretch of November.

okay.ng assembled that the refinery is by the Niger Delta Petroleum Resources, in Ogbele, Rivers State and would refine 10,000 barrel of raw petroleum every day.

This was announced by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Edobor Iyamu in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State at a media workshop on ‘Agenda for the Niger Delta New Vision.’

Iyamu said the secluded refinery is an update from 1000 barrel for each day to 10000.

“The Niger Delta Petroleum Resources in Ogbele, Rivers State, has built up an extra 10,000 bpd measured refinery. Common works and establishment of refinery are relatively finished,” he said.

“The organization as of now has a pioneer 1,000 bpd smaller than expected refinery in a similar site and it is required to be introduced in the principal seven day stretch of November by the Presidency.

“There’s additionally the Walter Smith secluded refinery that will be set up with a limit of 5,000 bpd in Imo State. The historic has been settled for October 4.”
