The Agbowo area of Iwo in Osun State resonated with sorrowful cries on Saturday as the late Tolani Quadri Oyebanji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, was laid to rest.

Sisi Quadri, a beloved actor, passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 44, reportedly due to complications related to his kidneys. His body was transported from the hospital in Ogbomoso, where he breathed his last, to his hometown for burial.

As the white bus carrying his remains arrived, it was greeted by a massive crowd, awaiting the final journey of the talented actor. Islamic clerics were on hand to perform the last rites before his interment.

Amidst tears shed by colleagues from the movie industry and his numerous fans, Sisi Quadri was laid to rest in his hometown of Iwo, Osun State.

A video circulating on social media captured the heart-wrenching moment as mourners bid farewell to the late actor, with wailing sounds filling the air as his body was lowered into the grave.

Sisi Quadri leaves behind two children.
