Nollywood actor and producer Femi Adebayo has addressed the incident in which he slapped his father, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, during the filming of Funke Akindele’s movie Taiwo Taiwo in 2008.

In a recent interview, Femi Adebayo explained that the slap was accidental and not part of the script. He recounted the incident, noting that he immediately apologized to his father after the scene.

In a trending video on social media, Femi described the moment: “I ended up slapping my father in Funke Akindele’s movie, Taiwo Taiwo, while trying to act like an aggressive thief.

“It wasn’t in the film that I had to slap him, but the character was an aggressive thief, and the man didn’t want to give us money, and I just realized that I raised my hand to hit him.”

He further shared his father’s reaction, saying, “So, when I begged him after the scene, he was like you would have been in trouble if you had failed to hit me.”
