The FCT-Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS) has issued a gentle reminder to Mrs Aisha Achimugu, an Abuja socialite, to fulfil her tax obligations amidst her extravagant 50th birthday celebrations in Grenada.

Mrs Achimugu, the founder and managing director of Abuja-based Felak Concept Group, recently marked her milestone birthday with a week-long celebration in the Caribbean state of Grenada, attracting attention for its opulence and grandeur.

As Mrs Achimugu basked in the festivities, which reportedly cost nearly one million dollars, the FCT-IRS took to social media to extend birthday wishes while subtly reminding her of her tax responsibilities.

In a post on its official social media handle, the FCT-IRS wished Mrs Achimugu a warm birthday and encouraged her to remember to fulfil her tax obligations by filing her annual tax returns.

“The FCT-Internal Revenue Service extends our warmest birthday wishes to you! May this special day be filled with joy and blessing. Remember to fulfill your tax obligations by filing your annual tax returns,” the post read.

The seven-day birthday extravaganza, held from January 16 to January 23, included a series of lavish events and activities, with attendees flying in from Nigeria aboard hired jets to join the celebrations.
