Fasoranti’s daughter burial programme to begin July 19

The programme lined up for the burial of Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of the leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, will begin on July 19.

The family disclosed this in a statement on Thursday releasing the details of programme arraigned for the burial.

According to the statement, commendation/night of tributes will take place on July 19 at Harbour Point, Wilmot Road, Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria island, Lagos State by 5pm.

The burial ceremony will take place at the Saint David’s Anglican Cathedral ljomu, Akure by 11am on July 22, with interment following at the church cemetery.

It can be recalled that Olakunri was killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen along the Benin-Ore Expressway on July 12.
