Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has issued a scathing critique directed at the United States and its leadership, including President Donald Trump, through a statement made on his official X (formerly Twitter) account. The comments, which have sparked widespread reactions, allege that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is involved in funding terrorist groups operating in Nigeria.

“First you confess that #USAID is funding Boko Haram, ISWAP and other terrorist organisations in Nigeria and now you say you want to impose sanctions on us for the very same terrorist activities that your USAID is funding,” Fani-Kayode stated. His remarks suggest a perceived hypocrisy in the U.S. approach to combating terrorism, particularly in Nigeria, where groups like Boko Haram and ISWAP have been responsible for numerous attacks.

He went on to accuse the United States of lacking coherence in its foreign policies, saying, “It appears that you Yankees are as confused as the autumn morning and a victim of your own obsession for power and control.” This assertion appears to reflect Fani-Kayode’s criticism of U.S. interventions and perceived inconsistencies in its international relations.

Furthermore, the former minister issued a lengthy admonition to the U.S. government, urging it to address what he described as systemic corruption, unethical foreign policies, and exploitation of other nations. “If you want the killing of innocent people to stop in Nigeria or elsewhere and if you truly desire world peace then get rid of your monumental appetite for money laundering, thievery, misappropriation of public funds, stealing and corruption through contrived and premeditated foreign wars and conflicts,” he wrote.

Fani-Kayode also extended his criticism to U.S. support for Israel, particularly concerning the ongoing conflict in Gaza. “Stop supporting and funding the genocide in #Gaza and turmoil in the Middle East, stop giving Israel a free pass on all her atrocities,” he stated. Additionally, he called for efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine, cautioning the U.S. to “bring peace to Ukraine and reign in #NATO, get rid of Zelensky, build bridges with Russia.”

In his broad critique, Fani-Kayode urged the United States to address internal issues, alleging corruption involving prominent figures. He specifically mentioned several American political and business figures, demanding their prosecution. “Jail your neocons, dismantle and destroy your Deep State and military industrial complex, incarcerate Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Anthony Fauci, Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, George Soros and Kamala Harris,” he wrote.

The former minister further called for the release of classified files concerning prominent figures, stating, “Release ALL the MLK, JFK and Epstein files and finally repent of your evil ways and turn to God.”

Fani-Kayode concluded his message by expressing that such actions would not only improve the U.S. but also bring peace to the world. “Do all these things and not only will your country become a better place but peace will return to the world,” he asserted.

The remarks have generated considerable attention and debate, with many analyzing Fani-Kayode’s accusations and recommendations. Neither the U.S. government nor USAID has officially responded to the allegations at the time of this report.
