Famous Hausa Musician, Sani Dan-Indo Dies at 55


 

Famous Hausa musician, Sani Dan-Indo, is dead.

He died in Kano on Sunday night at the age of 55 after a brief illness.

He passed away in his residence at Gadar-Tamburawa, Dawakin Kudu local government area of Kano state.

He was regularly hired to perform at social functions in the northern parts of Nigeria.

Late Dan-Indo left behind a wife and 6 children.

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Mr. Dan-Indo came to limelight in the mid-80s when he took the Kalangu Hausa music scene by storm.
