Exalt Nigeria, an organization that works to increase mass participation in electoral processes for good governance, has launched a new web application aimed at multiplying voters and supporters for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election.

The group, which has long backed Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, believes that the two will bring sustainable development to Nigeria.

Dr. Idu Nwapa Nwadiaro, the founder of Exalt Nigeria, explains that the app enables voters to register by location and support group affiliation. “Verified support groups can log in their projects by location, from national to polling unit, and donors and investors can view and fund projects directly, either at the grassroots level or on a larger scale,” Dr. Nwadiaro said.

The app, which is available as both a web app and for download, is designed to bring all Obidients together in one location on the same virtual space.

“Elections are won polling unit by polling unit, and what you measure is what you have done,” Dr. Nwadiaro continued.

“Multiple support groups in the same area can work together for the same purpose, making the giant wave that will crest to ObiDattiWins.”

All registrants on the app will flow into the Exalt Nigeria chat community, where they will work together to turn out and protect every vote, leading to a win on February 25, 2023.

Dr. Nwadiaro also explains that the app brings canvassers, support groups, party structure, funders, and all Nigerians who are seeking change, together to make a difference.

“We are presenting this application to the media to help make a clarion call to the general public, especially all Obidients, on the importance of coming together in a single space to build a stronger, actionable, structural support for Peter Obi,” she said.

The app can be accessed as a website and is also available for download as an application.
