Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has approved the release of another sum of N200 million for the payment of gratuities to retirees in the state, okay.ng reports.

The Permanent Secretary, Pension Transition Arrangement Department, PTAD, Mr Francis Omotoso, who made this available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti , explained that the amount would cover payment of gratuities of State Government Pensioners to July 2015.

Speaking on the government’s commitment to the wellbeing of the retirees , Mr Omotosho noted that the approval is another significant step towards offsetting the backlog of gratuities and other entitlements of the retirees owed by previous administration in line with continuity and shared prosperity agenda of the administration.

He urged the affected pensioners to the PTAD office, Old Governors Office for documentation in preparation for the collection of the Cheques.
