Dupe Olusola, the MD/CEO of Transcorp Hotels PLC, is revolutionizing the hospitality industry in Africa with her unique approach to success.

In a recent interview with CIO VIEWS, Olusola shared her thoughts on what it means to be successful in the industry and how she is leading Transcorp Hotels to new heights.

Olusola defines success as a holistic concept that encompasses spiritual, social, emotional, mental, physical, and financial well-being.

She believes that in order to be truly successful, one must not only achieve their own goals, but also give back to the community and empower others to reach their full potential.

Olusola attributes her success to the support and guidance of her family and mentors, who instilled in her the confidence and courage to pursue her goals.

She also cites the key to success in the hospitality industry as a strong desire to serve others and provide the best possible service.

Transcorp Hotels PLC, which is listed on the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), is one of Africa’s most prominent hotel chains, with award-winning properties such as the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and the Transcorp Hotels Calabar.

The company’s core values, as described by Olusola, are based on three Es: Excellence, Execution, and Enterprise.

These values are reflected in the company’s focus on integrity, innovation, and honesty, which have helped Transcorp Hotels PLC cultivate a reputation for excellence.

In 2021, the company launched Aura by Transcorp Hotels, an online booking platform that is experiencing significant growth as part of the company’s “asset-light” strategy.

Transcorp Hotels PLC now manages over 5,000 rooms in hotels and flats across Nigeria.

To stay competitive in the industry, the company is constantly exploring new ways to increase sales, open new markets, and maintain high-quality standards.

Olusola and her team are excited about the future, with plans to open a new state-of-the-art convention center at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and a new five-star hotel in the center of Lagos.

Under Olusola’s leadership, Transcorp Hotels PLC is making a significant impact on the hospitality industry in Africa through her unique approach to success and her commitment to serving the community.
