Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has weighed in on the contentious issue of DNA testing, urging individuals not to react emotionally to requests for such tests.

Amidst growing debate in Nigeria over the necessity of DNA testing, particularly in cases of paternity disputes, Doyin took to her Instagram page to share her perspective on the matter.

With recent cases of paternity fraud sparking widespread discussion, Doyin emphasized that men have a right to request DNA testing given the prevalence of such incidents.

In her post, she stated, “It’s not a bad thing for your partner to request for DNA test. If he wants to take care of a child that isn’t his, let it be his decision to do that intentionally not because he thinks he’s the father. The rate of paternity fraud is too high for you to think emotionally if your partner asks for a DNA test. It’s a painful request but it’s understandable.”
