Nigerian superstar Davido has released his highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘5ive’, marking a significant milestone in his career, okay.ng reports.

The album, which dropped on April 18, 2025, was recorded over two years in Lagos, London, and Los Angeles, blending Afrobeats, Afro-fusion, reggae fusion, and R&B.

‘5ive’ comes two years after his critically acclaimed album ‘Timeless’ and features 17 tracks with guest appearances from global stars such as Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, Shensea, YG Marley, Odumodublvck, and Chike.

Notable singles released ahead of the album include ‘Be There Still’, ‘Funds’ featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and ‘Awuke’ with YG Marley.

Davido describes the album as “a new chapter of personal growth and global connection,” highlighting his journey, truth, and growth. Tracks like ‘Funds’ showcase his signature energy, while ‘Titanium’ with Chris Brown delves into emotional resilience. ‘Offa Me’ featuring Victoria Monet explores desire, and ‘Nuttin Dey’ celebrates confidence and longevity.

The project is released under Davido Music Worldwide, Columbia Records, and Sony Music Entertainment, further solidifying Davido’s global influence.
