Davido now most viewed Nigerian artist on YouTube

Davido is now the most viewed Nigerian artiste on video sharing platform, YouTube.

The singer has amassed over 500 million views across all his uploads on the platform to achieve this feat.

In January, his hit song, ‘Fall’ beat Yemi Alade’s ‘Johnny’ to become the most viewed Nigerian music video on YouTube.

He then became the first Nigerian artiste to reach over 100 million views on YouTube ahead of Yemi Alade and Tekno.

The DMW boss’ YouTube page also streams the tracks and videos of his label mates including Mayorkun, Peruzzi, and Dremo.

Davido was the first Nigerian artiste to reach one million, two million, five million and nine million followers on photo-sharing platform, Instagram.

It can be recalled that his latest single ‘Blow My Mind’ with American singer, Chris Brown, has hit over 1 million views in 20 hours.
