Nigerian music sensation Davido has extended heartfelt congratulations to South African artist Tyla for her remarkable achievement in clinching the inaugural Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance.

In a gracious post shared via his X account shortly after the announcement, Davido praised Tyla for her well-deserved victory, acknowledging the significance of her win for the African music community.

“Congratulations on your win @Tyllaaaaaaa! Big One for Africa! Keep soaring! ⭐️,” Davido’s post read.

Tyla’s victory came amidst stiff competition from heavyweight contenders in the Afrobeats scene, including Davido himself, Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide, Ayra Starr, and fellow South African Musa Keys, who collaborated with Davido on the track “Unavailable.”
