Michael Collins Ajereh, the renowned Nigerian music executive and producer famously known as Don Jazzy, recently shared valuable advice on dealing with critics, urging his fans to stay focused on their goals and not be distracted by negative opinions.

Taking to his X account on Saturday, Don Jazzy emphasized the importance of ignoring criticism, especially when one has achieved success.

He pointed out that critics often do not care about individuals during their struggles and grinding phases.

“Nobody gives a fck about you when you are suffering and grinding,” Don Jazzy wrote. “If you give a fck about what people think about you when you make it, then you didn’t learn shit in the come-up and will be back suffering in no time.”

The music mogul stressed that worrying about others’ opinions during both the journey to success and after achieving it only serves as a distraction. He advised his followers to remain steadfast and undeterred by external judgments.

“Worrying about what people think about you in your grinding phase and your made phase is a distraction,” he concluded.
