COVID-19: 627 new cases, 12 deaths recorded in Nigeria on June 12

Nigeria has recorded 627 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 deaths on Friday, June 12th, 2020.

Data from the NCDC showed that the cases were spread across 22 states including FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 229 cases.

The states with the 627 new cases are Lagos-229, FCT-65, Abia-54, Borno-42, Oyo-35, Rivers-28, Edo-28, Gombe-27, Ogun-21, Plateau-18, Delta-18, Bauchi-10, Kaduna-10, Benue-9, Ondo-8, Kwara-6, Nasarawa-4, Enugu-4, Sokoto-3, Niger-3, Kebbi-3, Yobe-1, and Kano-1.

NCDC also announced that as of 11:50 pm on 12th June, there are 15,181 total COVID-19 confirmed cases reported in Nigeria.

Four thousand, eight hundred and ninety-one (4,891) patients have been discharged with three hundred and ninety-nine (399) deaths across the country.
