Court remands Kolade Johnson’s killer in prison for another 35 days

A Lagos Magistrate Court in Ebute Meta has remanded Ogunyemi Olalekan, the dismissed police inspector who killed Kolade Johnson, for another 35 days in prison.

Okay Nigeria understands that Olalekan had spent the last 30 days in Ikoyi Prison after the court earlier remanded him on April 6.

Magistrate A.O. Salawu, when the case resumed on Monday (today), stated that the dismissed inspector should remanded in prison till June 10 as he had not got advice on the case from the Office of the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

However, Ogunyemi, wasn’t present in court on Monday for his trial.
