A Federal high court sitting in Abuja on Friday ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to immediately obey its order granting former National Security Adviser, NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki (Rtd) leave to travel abroad for medical treatment.

The presiding judge, Justice Ademola Adeniyi, said order granting permission to Dasuki to travel must be obeyed.

Justice Adeniyi advised the federal government to wait for Dasuki to return from his medical journey.

Dasuki had approached the court to plead for the enforcement of its earlier order of November 3.

The former NSA asked for three weeks to seek medical assistance abroad for his ailment.

He has also dragged the DSS to court to protest his continued detention.
