Justice Walter Onnoghen, Chief Justice of Nigeria, has failed to appear before the tribunal over six-count criminal charge against him.

The trial commenced without him in attendance as he was represented by team of lawyers.

The CJN is on trial for alleged failure to declare his assets.

The CJN is represented by a team of lawyers led by Wole Olanipekun (SAN). 47 out of the lawyers are Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).
