Circumstances of His Death

Ojougboh’s death occurred under unexpected circumstances. He was watching the AFCON 2023 semi-final game between Nigeria and South Africa when he suddenly slumped. It was reported that the incident happened when a penalty was awarded against Nigeria.

His Political Career

Before his untimely death, Ojougboh had a distinguished political career. He was a former member of the House of Representatives, representing the Ika Federal Constituency of Delta State. He was also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Reactions to His Death

The news of Ojougboh’s death was met with widespread shock and grief. President Bola Tinubu expressed sadness over the incident and offered condolences to the Ojougboh family.
