The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has declared that President Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t need any advice from the Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on how to effectively govern the country.

The party was reacting to a statement issued by the spokesman of Kwara PDP, Chief Rex Olawoye, where the PDP advised, “the president to study the report of the National Conference and avail himself of it as vital source of information for guidance on various challenges confronting the nation”.

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, the party described the PDP as a drowned party in desperate search for political relevance.

“It is apparent that successive PDP-led administrations have left Nigeria worse than they met it”, the APC said.

The party said, “If the report of the National Conference was indeed vital as claimed by the PDP, why did President Jonathan fail to implement it?”

The APC reassured Nigerians and most especially Kwarans that President Buhari had the capacity and wherewithal to rebuild Nigeria and put the country back on the path of growth, progress and peace.
