“Breath of Life,” a captivating Nigerian drama film directed by BB Sasore and produced by Eku Edewor, emerged triumphant at the 2024 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), clinching the highly coveted Best Movie award.

The film, executively produced by BB Sasore and Derin Adeyokunnu, captivated audiences with its compelling storyline and stellar performances. “Breath of Life” triumphed over formidable contenders, including “Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti,” “Over The Bridge,” “Blood Vessel,” “A Tribe Called Judah,” “The Black Book,” and “Mami Wata,” to claim the prestigious accolade.

At the star-studded award ceremony held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Genoveva Umeh, who delivered a remarkable performance in “Breath of Life,” secured the Best Supporting Actress award. Her portrayal captivated audiences and earned her recognition among a talented pool of nominees.

Wale Ojo, another standout actor in “Breath of Life,” was honored with the Best Lead Actor award for his compelling portrayal.
