President Bola Tinubu arrived in Abuja on Monday evening, April 21, 2025, concluding an 18-day working visit to France and the United Kingdom, okay.ng reports.

He left Nigeria on April 2 for Paris to review his administration’s mid-term performance, assess key milestones, and engage in strategic planning ahead of his second anniversary in office. During his absence, Tinubu maintained constant communication with government officials and continued to direct national affairs remotely.

The President’s prolonged stay abroad sparked criticism from opposition leaders, who cited rising insecurity in states such as Plateau and Benue, demanding his immediate return. The Presidency responded by assuring that Tinubu was fully engaged in governance from abroad and had issued directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats.

Upon arrival at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Tinubu was received by cabinet members, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. He promptly resumed duties at the State House in Abuja, signaling continuity in leadership as Nigeria faces security challenges.
