An explosion shook the city of Jos in Nigeria’s central state of Plateau on Thursday evening, a Reuters witness said.
The cause of the blast at 6.30 p.m. local time was not immediately clear and it was not known whether it caused casualties. Nigerian security sources could not immediately be reached.
