Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality, Bobrisky, has revealed the reasons behind his recent departure from Nigeria.

Following his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Bobrisky announced that he left the country temporarily to prioritize his mental and physical well-being.

Taking to his Instagram page on Monday, Bobrisky clarified that his decision was necessary to attend to his “sanity and health” after a series of challenging interactions with security agencies.

“Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily. I need to attend to my sanity and my health,” he wrote.

In his post, Bobrisky alluded to facing alleged harassment by Nigerian security agencies, stating, “Few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me, but naaa, I gat God.”

The crossdresser also disclosed the financial toll of his attempts to leave the country, recounting that he had purchased business class tickets three times, but only managed to successfully travel once.

“Imagine buying a business class ticket three times; only one was successful. KLM, I hope you guys refund me the two I didn’t use. I know it’s not your fault, but it’s fine,” he shared.

“Each business class cost me 9.800,000. I only successfully flew yesterday, 3/11/2024.”
