Grammy Award nominations are still rolling in, but Beyoncé has already scored a major win: With her nomination 3 days ago for Best Urban Contemporary Album, that brings her total Grammy nominations to 47 (!!!), giving her the edge over Dolly Parton as the most Grammy-nominated
female artist of all time.

If you’re curious (I certainly am), this number puts Beyoncé at seventh place for the most Grammy nominations of all time, male or female. (Funnily enough, Jay Z is one of the artists still ahead of her, in the third place slot with 60 noms.) But we expect this number to rise and rise.
Leave it to Beyoncé to win the Grammys before they even begin. In case anyone needed reminding .
