Singer Bella Shmurda has expressed profound gratitude towards renowned rapper and YBNL Nation boss, Olamide, for his pivotal role in shaping his musical journey.

During a recent episode of the London 90 podcast, Shmurda emphasized the significant contributions Olamide has made to his career, stating that he would acknowledge the rapper’s influence even before mentioning his own mother if asked about his support system.

“If my children ask me who helped me, I’ll mention Olamide first before I mention my mother,” Shmurda remarked.

Highlighting Olamide’s unique support for African music awards despite his international success, Shmurda praised the rapper for his commitment to promoting African talent on a global scale.

“Olamide is the only top artiste that is successful internationally and still supporting African music awards. Others won’t want to come for Headies Award but they can spend millions to go to the Grammys,” Shmurda noted.

Bella Shmurda’s rise to fame received a significant boost after collaborating with Olamide on the remix of his hit song ‘Vision 2020’.
